The aim of the project "Training packages for health professionals to improve access and quality of health services for migrants and ethnic minorities, including the Roma ( MEM-TP)" funded by the European Commission, was to develop, test and evaluate training packages for health professionals with the purpose of improving access to and quality of services for migrants and ethnic minorities, including the Roma. The focus was on health professionals in first contact with these groups working in primary care settings. The purpose of the dissemination workshop was to 1) share information, and 2) discuss how to make the training packages operational across the European Union (EU). The participants represented a mixed and interdisciplinary group drawn from 25 different European countries, national and international organisations, government agencies, and NGOs.
