Migration Health Research Area/Expertise
I look at migration and health from an intersectional and human rights based perspective. Thereby I worked on access to health care services, anti-discrimination in public health research and generation of anti-discrimination data in representative health surveys. I do research on the health of undocumented migrants, sex workers, homeless people and drug users (by involving the communities) with the aim of generating data, creating awareness and shaping policies to improve equity in health.
