Integrating Migration into Health Interventions: A Toolkit for International Cooperation and Development Actors

The Toolkit is part of a series of tools developed under the Mainstreaming Migration into International Cooperation and Development (MMICD) project funded by the EU. The aim of this Toolkit is to provide concise, operational, and user-friendly information and tools to help international cooperation and development actors to integrate migration into Health Interventions. It was developed in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), UN AIDS, and the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Refugee and Migrant Health in the context of the COVID-19 Pandemic: Assessment tool for response at municipal level in the WHO European Region

This assessment tool is to support municipalities and local authorities in identifying the risks and vulnerabilities that refugees and migrants face and to identify gaps where possible methods to minimize the impact of the pandemic exist so that they can be prioritized within local policy processes.

Healthy Migrants, Healthy Thailand: A Migrant Health Program Model

Prepared by IOM in collaboration with the Thai Ministry of Public Health, this report summarizes the structure and management modality of the five-year pilot programme on migrant health in five priority provinces in Thailand. Also included in the report are good practices for different migrant community settings, as well as the  achievements and lessons learned during the programme.

Migration and HIV/AIDS in Thailand: Triangulation of biological, behavioural and programmatic response data in selected provinces

With the growing economy and relatively stable society, Thailand has long been a hub for migration in Greater Mekong Sub-region, particularly for labour migrants from the three neibouring countries namely Myanmar, Cambodia and Lao PDR. It is estimated that over two million migrants are living and working in Thailand, in addition to some 150,000 displaced persons and asylum seekers who seek refuge in nine temporary shelters along the border.
