USAID Dialog on HIV and TB Project among Migrants in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan

This project aims to contribute to a reduction of HIV and TB incidence among migrant workers through raising awareness of the migrants on HIV and TB prevention, increasing HIV and TB detection and reducing treatment default through enhancing adherence to HIV and TB treatment. To achieve these objectives IOM will create a regional network of local NGOs and conduct training (jointly with PSI) and regular on-the-job seminars to enhance NGOs’ capacity for HIV and TB prevention among migrant workers.

Community Mobilization for HIV-AIDS Prevention among Labour Migrants and their Families - Phase III

The overall objective of the project is to decrease rate of growth of STIs/HIV/AIDS among labour migrants and their families in 25 target districts through community-based HIV/STI prevention, care and support interventions. The project will be aimed to change labour migrants behavior in order to decrease spreading STIs and HIV through raising the population awareness on STIs\HIV\AIDS prevention and promotion existing medical and legal service for labour migrants and their families.

Community Mobilization for HIV-AIDS Prevention among Labour Migrants and their Families - Phase II

The overall objective of the project is to build capacity of communities' residents to combat HIV/AIDS epidemic among labour migrants and their families. The project will be aimed to decrease labour migrants and their family's vulnerability to STIs and HIV through increasing the population awareness on STIs/HIV prevention and promotion existing medical and legal service for labour migrants and their families.
