Return of Irregular Migrants Stranded in Bosnia & Herzegovina (IMSB IV)

The purpose of this project is to facilitate the voluntary return of irregular migrants stranded in Bosnia & Herzegovina (BiH) to their respective countries of origin. The project will assist migrants to return to their home countries in a safe and dignified manner. The project will provide up to 700 stranded migrants with information about the programme, with pre-departure arrangements, medical screening, return counselling and return transportation assistance.

Voluntary Return of Irregular Migrants Stranded in Bosnia and Herzegovina (IMSB) - 2006

This project will strengthen the mechanism in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to facilitate the voluntary return of stranded irregular migrants in the country ) to their respective countries of origin. The project will assist migrants in returning to their home countries in a safe and dignified manner and will also help to alleviate the strain on scarce resources of the BiH State.

Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration Program for Nationals of European, Non EU Countries, for Nationals of Asian Countries, and for Nationals of African Countries (AVRRPC)

The project will enlarge activities in return to countries of origin, especially through various types of reintegration activities in the country of return. This assistance will lead to stabilization of returnees and therefore to sustainability of the return and in consequence add value to efforts of Board of Asylum Facilities and IOM Prague. Within the framework of the project, IOM will provide assistance in arranging flights for returnees, obtaining of travel documents, provide pre-departure, transit and post-arrival assistance. .

Seeking Care, Support and Justice for Survivors of Conflict Related Sexual Violence in Bosnia and Herzegovina - Phase III

The proposed intervention is founded on the basic assumption that coherent advocacy and capacitation of public institutions, combined with fully integrated approach to addressing Stigma across all activities, at every level leads towards improved services, legislation, policies, mechanisms and practices that impact the lives of survivors.

Resettlement of 30 Christian Iraqis to Austria (RCII)

IOM will contact the 31 Christian Iraqis who were selected by the Ministry for Interior for resettlement. As most cases are not in Baghdad neighbourhood, it will be up to the applicants to reach Baghdad for medical examination and travel. In Baghdad, the refugees will undergo medical screenings at the IOM clinic in order to ensure that refugees meet the requirements of the host country and are fit to travel. IOM will arrange exist visa for the refugees. For those who do not own passports, IOM will arrange for ICRC travel documents.

Admission of 600 Syrian Refugees to Austria

The main objective of this project is to assist the Austrian Government, represented by the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior (MoI) in implementing the second part of the Humanitarian Admission Programme (HAP II) through which some 600 Syrian refugees from Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon (mainly, other locations are not excluded) will be transferred to Austria and admitted under humanitarian grounds.

Resettlement of Vulnerable Syrian Cases

In response to a request from the UK Government for assistance to resettle up to 20,000 particularly vulnerable Syrian refugees over th e course of this Parliament (May 2020) amounting to 5,000 refugees per year. IOM proposes to dispose of its services to facilitate this process. Main areas of assistance will include medical assessments, cultural orientation, and all travel aspects.

Resettlement of Iraqi Refugees from Turkey to Germany

This project is intended to assist the Government of Germany with the resettlement of up to 100 Iraqi refugees currently living in Turkey and granted refugee status by UNHCR. The resettlement of refugees from Turkey to Germany is a direct contribution of the German Government to Turkey. The first time Germany accepted Iraqi refugees from Turkey for resettlement was in 2012. In that occasion IOM Has Assisted BAMF facilitating the departure arrangements in particular carrying out the medical examination referral, organizing the departure as well as the pre-departure fitness to travel.
