Description

This national profile summarises the findings of research and interviews with key stakeholders from both government bodies involved with migrating health professionals and universities as well as interviews with migrant health professionals themselves. It should be noted that in this national profile when interviews with migrants are reported the information comes from 79 migrant health professionals who were surveyed and 35 of these went on to be interviewed, therefore this qualitative information is anecdotal and may not be representative of the total population of health professional migrants in Australia.
