Migration Health Research Area/Expertise
I have been involved in migration research for about 30 years, centered mainly in Thailand and the Mekong region. I worked on many HIV prevention programmes in the region including the migration issue. With my colleagues, I have investigated the issue of children living apart from their parents due to migration and its impact on child health, child development and caretaker mental health. I currently work on M&E of anti-trafficking efforts in five projects in Asia.
