Mitigate Risk of Cholera in Vulnerable Haitian Communities in the Western Upper Artibonite Region

To reduce cholera morbidity and mortality in Western Upper Artibonite region by improving the availability of cholera treatment facilities, improving access to and quality of water, sanitation and hygiene services and infrastructure, reinforcing the capacities of the community through hygiene promoters/polyvalent agents.

Immediate Shelter and NFIs Assistance to Vulnerable Earthquake Victims in Haiti - Health

This project aims to ensure access to medical care and safe, dignified discharge for vulnerable IDP's from hospitals and other health facilities, in earthquake affected areas of Port au Prince. Through coordinated referral, directed transport and assisted discharge, IOM will allow patients to access needed medical care, and to depart safely from hospital wards to their homes or preferred communities of return once they have been treated.

Enhanced Provision of Life Saving Rapid Response & Treatment for Cholera for the Most Vulnerable Populations in Upper Artibonite Region, Haiti

To provide life-saving first-line cholera treatment and flexible rapid response in the Upper Artibonite Department, and to support the MSPP’s efforts to integrate cholera response into existing primary health care facilities in order to facilitate access to cholera treatment.

Enhanced Provision of Life Saving Prevention, Rapid Response and Treatment for Cholera for the Most Vulnerable IDPs Remaining in Camps in Port au Prince Metropolitan Areas, Haiti

To provide life-saving cholera prevention, treatment and response support to extremely vulnerable IDPs remaining in camps with no alternative short-term housing solutions, and for the targeted beneficiaries to receive effective and well-coordinated humanitarian services to meet their needs.

Emergency Psychosocial Assistance - Return and Reintegration - Haiti

This project aims at providing psychosocial support and psychosocially aware humanitarian assistance for earthquake affected victims in support of the reintegration and return process. More than 150,000 earthquake-affected victims returning home or resettled in the IOM or CCCM identified shelters will be assisted through direct psychosocial support including facilitating referrals to other required services while facilitating the country's capacity to respond through capacity building of professionals and general humanitarian workers.

Community-Based Cholera Response in IDP Camps and Vulnerable Rural Communities in Haiti

This project aims to provide life-saving first-line treatment of cholera cases, through the established surveillance and alert system, and flexible rapid response in priority IDP camps in the Ouest Department and community level in Sud-Est Department and to support the Ministry of Public Health and Population's efforts to integrate cholera response into existing primary health care facilities in order to facilitate access to cholera treatment and further decrease morbidity and mortality rates.

Cholera Prevention and Response in Vulnerable Communities - Haiti (Logistics and Health)

The overall objectives of the project are to support and enhance the Government of Haiti National Cholera Response Plan, in particular the Ministry of Health and DINEPA, to support cholera prevention efforts in vulnerable communities, including IDP camps, and contribute to early warning to rapidly respond to future cases and prevent a widespread outbreak. The project purpose is to reduce morbidity and mortality related to cholera in vulnerable communities, including IDP camps.
