Migration Health Research Area/Expertise
I hold a doctorate degree from the Polish Academy of Science, Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Warsaw, Poland. My dissertation focused on the sociology of migration and health in which I conducted interviews with 25 Nigerian women in Poland. My research examined issues relating to migration status, social structure, health disparity, health behavior and their influence on cervical cancer prevention programme in Poland.

I have organised health seminars and workshop for migrant women living in Poland to educate them on breast and cervical cancer screening measures.

I have also collaborated with medical professionals and psychologists on an advisory level to support migrant women in Poland. Workshops and seminars were organized to provide information support for migrant women to know their legal rights to access medical facilities and cancer screening procedures in the Polish health care sector.

Currently coordinating a project on migrants’ integration within the EU through intercultural activities in Poland along with other partnering countries.
