This project aims to build capacity of stakeholders in Mongolia through the delivery of IOM's Counter-Trafficking Training Modules (Capacity Building and Return and Reintegration modules). In addition, tailored awareness raising tools will be developed and distributed among relevant stake holders, if relevant a passport leaflet with basic information on trafficking and were to seek for support will be created and printed and distributed to each person requesting a new passport . At the same time, it aims to develop effective and sustained reintegration support mechanisms catering to the diverse needs of victims of trafficking (VoT) returning home. Mandatory HIV Testing for Employment of Migrant Workers in Bangkok (MHMW)

The research aims to place firmly the topic of mandatory HIV testing on migrant workers on the region's HIV agenda, providing clarity and guidance to its social partners on this topic, and identifying gaps between (and among) labour and migration legislation. The research will analyze laws, actual practices, testing procedures and statistics of HIV testing for employment of migrant workers in 8 South-East Asian countries (Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam).

One of the first priorities for Ghazni Province is the construction of a Hospital and CERP/USAID has been approached by MoPH for funding the mentioned construction. The aim of this project is to provide support for the provision and expansion of IOM laboratories used to support diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis (TB), including Multi-drug Resistant TB (MDR-TB) among U.S. bound refugees. This contract is to support the IOM's ongoing role in screening and treating TB in refugees who are currently living in refugee camps in Thailand. IOM will focus on expanding laboratories used to support TB diagnosis and monitoring of directly observed therapy, including the purchasing and upgrading of laboratory equipment and additional training of staff, and improving parient treatment and care, through hiring of additional staff to support TB diagnostics and monitoring of therapy.

IOM Tirana will be responsible for the provision of reintegration assistance to 25 migrants to return to Albania through the implementation of a voluntary return pilot scheme. Reintegration assistance will include: contacting the beneficiary (returnee) after return to Albania, interviewing and assessing his/her needs for reintegration assistance (Individual plans of reintegration assistance prepared by partner organizations in Italy and Greece before departure to Albania will be further examined and taken into consideration to this aim), and facilitating the provision of reintegration services by different service providers in the country, such as temporary housing, job brokering, vocational training, support to education, support to start up a small business, reintegration assistance for children, health care, etc.
