Migration Health Research Area/Expertise
I am a final year medical student at NUI Galway, Ireland, and possess an MSc in Global Health from Maastricht University, Netherlands.

I first became interested in migrant health when I attended the WHO RC 66 meeting in Copenhagen as a delegate to the International Federation of Medical Students. In 2018, I volunteered with Reproductive Health Uganda and the IFRC in BidiBidi Refugee Settlement, Northern Uganda. I have since been volunteering for Evidence Aid to coordinate summaries of systematic reviews relating to migrant health. In 2019, I conducted a small review on active and latent M. Tuberculosis screening for migrants and prisoners in the European Region, during my internship with the Centre for Public Health and Social Medicine in Lausanne, Switzerland, where we catered to migrants through specialized primary care centres. Since the pandemic hit, I have been volunteering for The Geneva Centre for Humanitarian Studies by interviewing field workers about COVID-19 adaptations to their health programmes for the new platform covid19humanitarian.com. I am now working as an external consultant for the UCL-Lancet Migration Collaboration to help establish its European Hub.
