Research on the Health Vulnerabilities of the Cross Border Migrants from Nepal

Reliable information on the health vulnerabilities and resilience factors of cross-border migrants and associated possible preventive measures is lacking. To remedy this gap and thereby facilitate the development of evidence-informed policy and programme development, this study was undertaken to assess the health vulnerabilities of Nepali migrants to India.

Reintegration Counselling: A Psychosocial Approach

This guide is intended to provide key information on the importance of a psychosocial approach to post-arrival reintegration counselling, describing the basic counselling and communication skills necessary to conduct a successful and psychologically informed reintegration counselling interview with a returned migrant. It is a practical tool to support the reintegration counselor during the reintegration counselling process. 

Gender-based Violence Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices Survey in South Sudan

This study aimed to collect baseline information across a number of states on gender-based violence (GBV), sexual and reproductive health, HIV, and gender norms in emergency settings among key populations of humanitarian concern in South Sudan, including internally displaced persons in the protection of civilian sites, host communities, and female sex workers.

Alcohol use disorders among Myanmar migrant workers in Thailand

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to determine the prevalence of Alcohol Use Disorders (AUDs) among Myanmar male migrant workers (> 15 years) living in Mae Sot, Thailand, and their patterns of drinking.
