IOM working with the Global Fund

The Global Fund provides financial support for life-saving interventions to countries bearing the highest disease burden and lowest economic capacity, where the key and vulnerable populations are disproportionately affected by HIV/AIDS, TB, and malaria. Latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) is characterized by the presence of immune responses to previously acquired Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection without clinical evidence of active tuberculosis (TB).
