Lifesaving Health Assistance and Prevention, Detection and Response to Disease Outbreaks for IDPs and Host Communities in Wau, Western Bahr el Ghazal (WBeG)

The project aims to contribute to the reduction of avoidable mortality and morbidity through the provision of life-saving, rapid response primary health care services, TB and HIV diagnosis and treatment for vulnerable IDPs, returnees and conflict-affected host communities in and surrounding Wau town.

Yellow Fever Outbreak Response at Priority Border Spaces between DRC and Angola

The overall objective of the project is to support national efforts in responding to the current yellow fever outbreak, and at the same time increase the national capacity to better prevent, detect and respond to public health emergencies in the future. Through this project, IOM aims to capitalize on its expertise and experience in addressing public health emergencies from the angle of migration and human mobility, and contribute to the overall YF outbreak response, in-line with the YF Strategic Response Plan (SRP) developed by WHO and its partners.

The project aims to respond to the urgent need for lifesaving essential health care services for the IDPs in Dalxiiska and neighboring IDP settlements within Kismayo town. This project aims at preventing disruptions to the continuity of TB care and associated services and thus reducing avoidable mortality and morbidity due to TB by improving TB prevention and treatment outcomes through enhanced TB prevention, diagnosis and treatment services. for Syrian refugees, Lebanese returnees fleeing Syria and host communities affected by the Syrian crisis in Lebanon.

Humanitarian Assistance for Myanmar Muslims from Rakhine State and Special At-Risk Groups - Thailand

The project will continue the delivery of humanitarian aid to Myanmar Muslims from Rakhine State and special at-risk groups including Bangladeshis in Immigration Detention Centers, Welfare Protection Centers for Victims of Trafficking, and Shelters for Children and Families in Thailand.

Sustaining Life-Saving Primary Health Care for Vul lOPs Upper Nile, Unity, and Jonglei - South Sudan

The proposed project intends to contribute to the reduction of avoidable mortality and morbidity through the provision of life-saving primary health care (PHC) services to vulnerable internally displaced populations and conflict-affected host communities through a flexible, reactive and harmonized approach. The project will be implemented in Upper Nile State (Malakal POC and Renk County) as well as in hard to reach areas accessed by the Rapid Response Team (RRT). The RRT works with existing health facilities and partners on the ground, where they exist.

Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, and Resilience Building for Conflict-Induced Displaced Populations in the North East of Nigeria - Nigeria

This project aims to provide timely psychosocial support to displaced populations in Borno State, in order to address mental health and psychosocial wellbeing at the individual level during displacement and increase readiness to identify durable solutions. including local integration, or to reintegrate into communities of origin or habitual residence in the future.
