Description

The guidelines was developed within the framework of PHBLM project “Increasing Public Health Safety alongside the New Eastern European Border Line”.  It was designed primarily to support the capacity of border management personnel to deal with migration health concerns and public health risks related to migration and to promote good practices and standards for border management and health personnel working and dealing with significant health risks. However, they should be of use for anyone working in a border region, in detention/reception facilities - health professionals, social workers, public health authorities, staff of non-governmental organizations and policymakers, volunteers, etc.

This document was produced with the financial contribution of the European Commission, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the Hungarian Ministry of Health, the Regional Ministry of Health of Andalusia, the University of Pécs and the Andalusian School of Public Health.
